Toronto is a diverse multicultural city and host one of Canada’s largest ethnic minority population. When it comes to personal care issues, many ethnic groups are fully aware that not all personal care products and services on the market are suitable for their unique types. They experience mix-match of colors against ethnic skin tones, skin pigmentation, scarring issues, or different hair textures. Yet the information is not provided when we want it. The Ethnic Hair and Beauty Fair manages both, the event and online communities, and informs ethnic consumers about current products and services that knows how to serve them the best.

We are here to create a community for discussions and education, and empower ethnic consumers with knowledge on services and products, specifically within the ethic personal care industry, available for their specific needs. We aim to bring businesses that are ethnic-owned or ethnic-led, that have a good understanding of growing ethnic minority population of Canada. We also provide equal opportunities for any businesses that want to participate in the ethnic personal care market. Our aim is to build a stronger relationship with all the stakeholders involved. Ethnic Hair and Beauty Fair is produced by Aya Events, an event company that also produces events for small-medium sized businesses that are too busy to handle their own events.
